E-Learning portal - Clinical Genetics
We are sorry, but following the current rules and regulations, we have to cancel the presence-seminaries for the subject “clinical genetics” and offer you “only” fully distance program.
Our one-week subject shall show you how the theoretical biology and genetics fuse with clinical medicine. We have prepared some seminaries for you. All of them will be open here for you in PDF (“offline”) form and will be here for your self-study.
Each of the groups will be assigned contact teacher (list with names and contacts will be provided here in the coming days) who will collect your protocols, provide feedback and grant you the credits.
Presentations:Oncogenetics (PDF, presentation)
Prenatal diagnostics (PDF, presentation)
Hereditary breast and ovarian cancer (PDF)
Instead of discussing with you (in seminars) about different model situations, this time you will have to think about these case studies yourself (alone). We have therefore created a protocol (DOC or PDF) that will introduce you to various areas of clinical genetics. Your (only) task will be to prepare this protocol (preferably on a computer, in the version for Word) and send it by e-mail to your contact teacher, no later than the end of February 2021 (end of the semester). Based on the responsibly filled in protocol, you will then be granted a credit electronically (via SIS).
